Human Resources Generalist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively support and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and maintaining HR metrics.
- Engage in recruitment efforts by coordinating strategies and assisting with ensuring a seamless transition from hiring to onboarding.
- Take ownership of developing, updating, and implementing HR programs, including job descriptions, training initiatives, and employee development efforts.
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, FMLA, and leave policies; coordinate open enrollment, changes, and benefits training sessions.
- Supervise and provide guidance and oversight to HR team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Contribute to salary benchmarking, internal policies, and HR compliance initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for employees by addressing questions and resolving issues in alignment with company policies.
- Stay informed on HR trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, recommending updates as needed.
- Participate in professional development initiatives to prepare for potential future leadership opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in HR generalist role, including benefits administration, training, and policy implementation.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- Leadership potential with a desire to grow into a future senior role.
