Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (Loureiro) is seeking a Part-Time/On-Call Business Analyst to add to our team in Plainville, CT.

Responsibilities:
  • Pursuit of new growth opportunities.
  • Research potential new markets and customers.
  • Analyze municipal grant opportunities & incentives.
  • Pursue material partnerships for landfill business models.
  • Accounts receivable collection and expansion of client contacts.
  • Preparation of field billing sheets.
  • Sales funnel management & coordination:
    • Customer set-up.
    • Win / Loss tracking. 
  • Client set up in Vision.
  • Proposal preparation.
  • Prequalification for LEA.
  • Review GovWin and Construct Connect.
  • Material vendors and subcontractor procurement support.
  • Represent Loureiro at tradeshows and networking events. ­­­
  • Assist in special projects when needed.

Qualifications:
  • BS / BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Management or Strategy (or related field)
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High energy & can-do attitude.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Research techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate.
  • Timely internal and external communication.
  • Project accountability and deadline oriented.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.
