Senior Project Manager – Construction

Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the management, planning, and execution of large-scale, complex civil construction projects. This position provides leadership to project teams, mentors junior Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers, and partners with executive leadership to strengthen company systems, procedures, and staff development in support of continued company growth.

What You'll Do

  • Take an active lead in the proposal preparation process and present proposals to clients for approval
  • Maintain client contact throughout each project and continue relationships after project completion to develop opportunities for future work
  • Develop project teams and assign duties to project team members
  • Develop and maintain career development plans for assigned staff
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues
  • Prepare and review project documentation and deliverables

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction project management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
  • Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card, or the ability to obtain one

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Ability to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains
  • Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment

Limits of Authority

  • Authorized to undertake and perform the duties and responsibilities outlined in this position
  • Executes tasks under the supervision of a Project Director or other designated authority figure
  • May not change project scope or renegotiate fees without approval from the Vice President or Head of Business Operations
  • Does not have hire-and-fire authority over assigned project personnel but provides recommendations regarding these actions
  • Reports directly to a Project Director or Area Manager and may also work directly with the Head of Business Operations
